DIVE Digital Futures Challenge

Build the future. Tell the story. Lead the challenge.

Eventbrite Program Description

DIVE Digital Futures Challenge is a 7-week hybrid summer technology, media, and leadership experience for students entering grades 7–12. Students will explore emerging technologies, including AI, VR/AR, digital media, creative storytelling, and innovation design, while working in teams to solve real community challenges.

Led by Dr. Cesare Wright and Kino-X, and powered by the Microsoft EPIC/VIP/FAST program ecosystem, DIVE gives students hands-on exposure to future-facing tools, creative production labs, leadership development, and collaborative problem-solving. Participants will build digital stories, media projects, prototypes, and presentations that connect technology with community impact.

Throughout the program, students will strengthen their communication, teamwork, creativity, and critical thinking skills while learning how to turn ideas into meaningful solutions. The experience concludes with a Final Showcase at Wortham Theater.

Admission is competitive based on application. Completing this application DOES NOT register you for the program or guarantee admission. Accepted students will be confirmed and provided registration details.
