DEVELOPING YOUTH BEYOND THE CLASSROOM
For 30+ years, World Youth Foundation, Inc. (WYF) has delivered free, out-of-school programming and access to community-wide events for underserved and underrepresented minority youth, ages 6-24. We expose youth to personal and professional growth opportunities. With direct access to strategic partners, WYF provides affordable project-based programming and community-wide events. World Youth Foundation, Inc. is a national, non-profit 501©3 organization.
Our daily goal is to educate, empower, enrich and expose youth to personal and professional opportunities that are not readily accessible at their schools, in their homes, or in their neighborhoods. In turn, the youth are able to directly play a role in uplifting their families and immediate communities with their wealth of knowledge and unique skillsets.
WYF understands that thousands of youth in low- to middle-class families are highly limited in their exposure to civic engagement, financial literacy, career development, community service, and entrepreneurship. Since April 1991, WYF has been and will continue to take an active role in closing that gap. This happens by changing the narrative and being a champion for youth success.
