For 31 years, the World Youth Foundation, Inc. (WYF) is a national, non-profit, grassroots organization designed to serve as a development vehicle to enhance the positive growth and character of under-represented minority youth. Chartered in April 1990, our holistic approach develops and cultivates the "Whole Child", Mind, Body, and Character. The innovative model provides a “mentoring gateway “to deliver effective programs designed to positively impact the future of our youth. Our mission is to “Teach youth how to win in life, against all odds”. The organization has been delivering free in-school and out-of-school mentoring programs that focus on increasing self-confidence and accelerating educational & professional skills for youth.

The number of children directly served by the organization annually is approximately 2,500. Through education and workforce development WYF focuses on the enrichment and empowerment of youth and young adults ages 6 - 24 years. The program approach helps students build their skills in leading with a competitive advantage, which includes their soft skills, communication abilities, character, analytics, priority management, and adaptability to the ever-changing business needs and requirements.
